Plug In

Plugin: Ways to get involved

Small Groups

Every Tuesday will be your chance to plug in. We’ll gather in the Ground Zero main room on Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. where we’ll worship and hang out in one big group. After Worship we’ll break up into small groups across campus.

Technical Arts

The technical arts team runs lights, sound, and video for the Sunday and Tuesday services. This team DJs during pre-service events, runs lights, and helps to create visual media for services. Training is provided for all positions.
Current opportunities include:

  • Lighting – Design onstage look for Worship and messages
  • Sound – Work with musicians to create the mix for the Worship portion of service
  • Visual Director – Make sure all visuals, are shown on screen

We also have opportunities during the week in:

  • Journalism / Acting – Be in front of the camera for our weekly announcement videos.
  • Cinematography – Get behind the camera to film everything Ground Zero.
  • Video Editing – Hands on editing experience with Apple’s Final Cut, while producing announcement videos, event promos, and illustrations.

Cafe Preservice

Come hang out in the Cafe before service, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday nights.

  • 4 42” flat screens
  • 4x Xbox360
  • 2x Nintendo Wii w/t Wii Play
  • 2 Ping Pong Tables
  • 2 Foosball tables
  • Air Hockey Pizza, drinks, and other goodies will be sold there before service.

Join the House Band

Now is the perfect time to join the house band.

Currently we’re looking for ukulele, guitar, xylophone, drum, bongo, bass, piano, and keytar players. If you know how to play and have a heart for worship, we want you.

To join you must complete a four week training where you’ll learn the ins and outs of running worship, from lights and sound to song selection. After completing training, you’ll have an opportunity to play at Sunday and Tuesday night services.
